Appointment Bookings at Core Healing Psychology
You will receive a confirmation email once your booking is successful. Please review the appointment details carefully.
If this is your first contact with our clinic, you will also be sent an Intake and Consent Form. Your appointment will be fully confirmed only after we receive the completed and signed form. If you do not receive the confirmation or the form, please contact us to follow up.
Yes, we offer both face-to-face sessions at our Cranbourne East clinic and secure online telehealth sessions. You can choose what suits you best, and we’re happy to provide flexibility where possible.
For child clients, the initial session is held with parents or caregivers only, without the child present. This allows us to gather important developmental and background information to better support your child’s needs.
No, Core Healing Psychology does not offer bulk billing.
Even if you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP, that does not mean the session is bulk billed unless explicitly arranged through a bulk-billing GP clinic.
However, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates, which partially reimburse the session fee after payment.
Bulk Billing: You pay nothing; the provider claims the full session cost directly from Medicare. We do not offer this service.
Medicare Rebate: You pay the full session fee up front and then receive a partial refund (rebate) from Medicare if you have a valid MHTP.
All fees are payable at the time of booking unless other arrangements are made. We accept credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
48+ hours’ notice: No cancellation fee
Less than 48 hours: 50% of the session fee
Less than 24 hours or no-show: Full session fee
Please cancel or reschedule via email or phone.
Your session will still end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it may be considered a missed appointment, and full fees may apply.
Online sessions are delivered through a secure telehealth platform. Please ensure:
A stable internet connection
A private, quiet space for the session
If there are any technical issues, we’ll attempt to reconnect or reschedule as needed.
Core Healing Psychology is not a crisis service.

If your psychologist is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you and offer to reschedule or book you with another suitable psychologist from our team.
Medicare: Rebates are available if you provide a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) before your session.
NDIS: We accept Self-Managed and Plan-Managed clients. Funding approval must be confirmed before booking.
TAC & WorkCover: If your sessions are approved under TAC or WorkCover, you do not need to pay anything out-of-pocket. We bill the insurer directly.
Private Health: Please check with your provider and submit claims directly to your insurer.
